PROBLEM
As GRAIL introduced its groundbreaking Galleri multi-cancer early detection test ahead of FDA approval, the brand needed to build awareness and credibility among providers, partners, and patients. The challenge was translating complex biotechnology into a compelling, accessible narrative within the high-profile setting of the PGA TOUR Champions Galleri Classic.
CREATIVE SOLUTION
We turned the golf tournament into a platform for humanizing breakthrough science. Introducing GRAIL’s presence at the premiere PGA TOUR Champions Galleri Classic showcased a multi-touch experiential platform, using VIP hospitality, interactive activations, offsite dinners, and social content to make complex science accessible through storytelling and human connection.
LEADERSHIP
As Creative Lead, I directed the end-to-end development of the platform, leading a multidisciplinary design team in close partnership with production and client stakeholders. I guided the creative from concept through execution, aligning multiple workstreams into a cohesive system while managing timelines, stakeholder alignment, and creative workflows to ensure seamless execution.
RESULTS
Over two years at the PGA TOUR Champions Galleri Classic, the platform engaged nearly 18,000 attendees, hosted 88 champion players and 77 business guests, and tested 208 patients in the mobile phlebotomy lab. Multiple original campaign and branded assets were reused across both years, reinforcing creative consistency, extending reach, and boosting awareness, trust, and credibility for GRAIL’s Galleri test.
